When a band comes to the States and doesn’t tour anywhere near you, you go see them in New York. That was the case with IDLES latest tour, which I used as a great excuse to spend a weekend in the city. Being my first visit in years I hit the usual touristy spots, rode too many late night subways, and ate really well. Some friends were in town condo shopping and others had the same concert plans. Great weekend.
