24 Hours in Miami

One of the benefits of living in Orlando is that we’re in the middle of the state. So when a touring artist comes through Florida, if they’re not hitting your backyard it’s at most a three-hour road trip away.

When I saw Four Tet was on a short U.S. tour and would be making a stop in Miami, I booked a short trip on the long weekend. Drove down, ate a Cuban sandwich with some plantains, ubered to the show, danced for four hours, woke up and hit the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens on the way home.

The weather was perfect and besides the $10 (!!!) Tecates at the show it was a fantastic trip.
